Description: Washington DC VA Medical Center intends to procure sampling and testing for critical water under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract period of performance will be twelve (12) month base period, with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The objective of this contract is to provide to Washington DC VA Medical Center, 50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422, water sampling and testing on the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) critical water treatment systems on behalf of the SPS department in order to maintain the SPS critical water to ANSI/AAMI ST108 standard. Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, shipping, and transportation necessary to perform this service as per the attached price list. For clarification purposes, CO in this contract refers to the Contracting Officer and Site Point of Contact (POC) refers to the Contracting Officer s Representative. Task Orders: The Contracting Officer shall issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for each requirement identified by the medical center within the scope of this contract. The contractor shall furnish a detailed proposal to the Government, the proposal will consist of unit prices established under this contract and based on sampling services as outlined in Sections 4 through 9 of the scope of work (SOW). Upon issuance of a task order, the contractor shall promptly commence work specified therein and shall complete the work within the period of performance and price agreed upon.
