The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources from contractors to assist with providing Community Based Urgent and Emergent residential care, treatment and rehabilitative services to Veterans who are homeless. The Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contracted Beds for Urgent and Emergent Placement with supportive services is an opportunity to rapidly reduce Veteran homelessness, particularly for those who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder treatment needs. The VA has a preference, for contractors who demonstrate the ability to provide specialization in urgent and emergent housing of men. The solicitation is only open to providers within the catchment area of the Lower Eastern Shore of MD. Lower Eastern Shore Somerset County, Wicomico County, Worcester County.
