To that end, VHA requires a comprehensive library of workplace industrial hygiene exposure assessments and occupational safety hazard risk assessments/job hazard analyses/evaluation which are separate from the Annual Workplace Evaluation and the Comprehensive Environment of Care rounds. The Contractor will conduct Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessments (EA) and Safety Management System Risk Hazard Assessments for VISN 5 Medical Centers or Healthcare Systems as outlined and required in VHA Directives 7702 INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE PROGRAM AND EXPOSURE ASSESSMENT PROCESS and 7703 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IN VHA. The Soliciation is a request for quotes with an anticipated award of a 5-year Indefinate Delivery Requirmenets Contract. Please see all attachments for details. Providing a safe and healthful work environment for its patients and employees is paramount to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). To that end, VHA requires a comprehensive library of workplace industrial hygiene exposure assessments and occupational safety hazard risk assessments/job hazard analyses/evaluation which are separate from the Annual Workplace Evaluation and the Comprehensive Environment of Care rounds. These assist VA Medical Centers in efficiently managing industrial hygiene and occupational safety programs and in effectively controlling occupational exposure and hazards risks. The VHA is posting a pre-solicitation notice that it intends on competing a 5-year IDIQ contract to 100% set-aside - Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This notice is being posted in accordance with FAR 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation shall be issued in 15 days from this notice.
