The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking prime contractor construction services to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision for project no. 540-22-118 Correct Fall Protection Deficiencies at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV 26301 in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, correct multiple fall protection deficiencies throughout building one. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 236220, size standard: $45 million. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database. and https://www.sam.gov and https://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm to be eligible for award. Only SDVOSB Firms currently verified in the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database. are eligible to submit bids/offers. SDVOSB firms that submit bids/offers for SDVOSB set-asides that are not listed on SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database. will be deemed nonresponsive. There will be one pre-bid site visit which will be held on or about October 09, 2024 @ 10:00 am local time at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, Engineering Building 7. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested parties must obtain a visitor pass from Engineering Building 7. All questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the contracting officer (email address: Adam.Bradford1@va.com). The deadline for questions pertaining to the solicitation will be on or about October 16, 2024 @ 2:00 pm local time. No telephone inquiries will be answered. Prospective contractors are responsible for downloading plans, specifications, and any issued amendments from https://www.beta.SAM.gov . Solicitation documents will be available on or about September 25, 2024. A public bid opening will be made at the VA Medical Center, Facilities Management Service/V5 Contract Satellite Office, 1 Medical Center Drive, Engineering Building 7 (Conference Room), Clarksburg, WV. Bid opening date is November 6, 2024 @ 2:00 pm local time. This procurement is subject to availability of funds.
