This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking Imaging Modules and DICOM Licenses for the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center. The requirement will support staff with use in routine patient care for obtaining photographs of the front of the eye. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.106. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed under a brand name only Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 1,000 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 6540 - Ophthalmic Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. To be eligible for award, an offeror shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov, be listed in the SBA certification database (Vetcert), and be an authorized distributor of Haag-Streit USA, INC. products. All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation will be posted to the Contract Opportunities website on or about September 8, 2023.
