This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking to procure direct delivery of medical and surgical supplies to veterans in the Washington D.C. Metro Area for the Washington DC VA Medical Center. This contract will serve as a vehicle to ensure patients have an adequate amount of supplies when being discharged and as a back-up in order to prevent missed deliveries to patients and the facility when items are out of stock or not available from the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05. This solicitation is unrestricted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 800 employees).The FSC/PSC is 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. This RFQ is for a single award. The Government reserves all rights to award all or none. The acquisition will be procured utilizing a Firm Fixed Priced Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. The contract will have a base year, with four option periods. This solicitation is for brand or equal FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal has been included in the RFQ.
