The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA P&LO Total Equipment Life Cycle Management Program Executive Office (ELCM PEO) has a continued acquisition need for Emergency Care Research Institute (ECRI) CAPITAL Guide (brand name or equal) comprehensive medical equipment research and advisory services. The ELCM PEO intends for this requirement to be purchased in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source will satisfy the agency requirements. Objective This is an online subscription for ELCM PEO Clinical Equipment Team and The Radiology Oncology and Imaging Team. The ECRI CAPITAL Guide membership shall include: an on-demand custom comparative analyses and pricing benchmark, cost analysis, contract analysis, Health Devices System Online, Health Devices International Source base, Healthcare Product Comparison System Online, Capital Budget Tool and Budget Review, Problem Reporting, Financial Calculators, Patient Safety Resources and Health Devices Alerts, Computerized Problem Reporting System, Medical Device Safety Reports and training. Additionally, ECRI CAPITAL Guide is an on-line medical equipment management annual subscription service that automates and enhances the national forecasting of equipment acquisition planning, industry benchmarks, equipment education and hazard alert and recall management process. Unique Qualifications ECRI Institute is an independent, nonprofit organization that researches the best approaches to improving the life cycle management cost-effectiveness, safety, and quality of patient care. It provides unbiased, evidence-based healthcare research, information, and advice to assist organizations in selecting the safest, most effective medical devices, procedures, and drugs and in procuring healthcare technology in the most cost-effective manner. No other organization in the world has this combination of unique capabilities to advance cost-effective, safe healthcare across the continuum of care. Equally significant is seamless transition from the soon expiring contract to the new procurement of the Capital Guide subscription. This transition in service will eliminate unacceptable delays in fulfilling the ELCM PEO Clinical Equipment Team and The Radiology Oncology and Imaging Team s mission. Award information Main purpose of the requirement is to gain access to ECRI s Capital Guide annual subscription, which will be replacing the existing SELECT Plus system that is set to expire on September 30, 2023. The services shall support up to 30 VHA user memberships with concurrent access to the system. The subscription shall be for a 12-months (1 year). The expected cost for 12 months is $115, 000.00.
