Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking to procure fluid management system for the Martinsburg VA Medical center system. The equipment is intended to provide liquid distention of the uterus during diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, and to monitor the volume differential between the irrigation fluid flowing into and out of the uterus while providing drive, control, and suction for hysteroscopic morcellators. The requirement shall include compatibility with the current Hologic, Inc. utilized equipment at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center system. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.106. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed under a brand name only small business (SB) set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 1,000 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. To be eligible for award, an offeror shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov, be classified as a small business under the NAICS 339112, and be an authorized distributor of Hologic, Inc. products.
