This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking Horizontal Flow Laminar Airflow Work/Clean Benches with accessories for the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center. The requirement will support staff at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center provide a safe compounding environment for sterile preparation of medication for the Veterans. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.106. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed under a brand name or equal small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 800 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 3694 - Clean Work Stations, Controlled Environment, and Related Equipment.
