NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE CensiTrac® Training Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide Censitrac® training. This requirement is defined primary by existing hardware already in use at the Beckley VA Medical Center. BACKGROUND Furnish all parts, material, travel/shipping to and from for training on the CensiTrac® system. Censis Technologies has proprietary rights to their software that operates the equipment listed in the scope. The ability to perform software upgrades and provide priority scheduling for the proprietary equipment is required. The government is contemplating a base year Firm Fixed Price contract to satisfy this requirement and meet the needs of the Beckley VA Medical Center. SCOPE GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Title of Project: ADVANCED CENSITRAC TRAINING 2. Scope of Work: This training course is intended to train SPD team members the fundamentals required to utilize CensiTrac in the execution of their daily activities related to the use and movement and sterilization of instrumentation and carts. Managers & Lead Techs (RME Coordinator, Managers Included) Standard Reporting Adding Media to Assets (Product/Scope Image x1 vs. Media Files) Administration Functions (User & Access Level modules) Washer Integrity Test Setup Creating Locations (Storage & Machines) Container Inventory Management Scope Inventory Management Competency Module Efficiency Task List Out-of-Sequence This course covers the following topics: OR & Clinic staff Overview LoanerLink Loaner Tray Check-in Life Cycle of Tray in CensiTrac Scanning to Locations (Storage & OR) Inventory Management (locating assets) SPS Users Life cycle of any asset in CensiTrac Perform Washer Integrity Test Reprocessing Scopes Container/Peel Pack Assembly Creating Sterilizer Loads Load Indicators Scanning to Locations Loaner Check-in (LoanerLink) Taking pictures of loaner trays upon check-in and check-out 3. Background: Censis Technologies, Inc. provides a flexible portfolio of surgical instrument tracking options using CensiTrac®, a highly advanced, web-based, customer-friendly platform. Censis ensure surgical instruments, trays, endoscopes and mobile equipment are accurately tracked through robust inventory controls and management. This SOW shows the relationship between Censis and the customer, highlighting the responsibilities of both teams. The project initiates with a project opportunity and client engagement and leads to the finalization and execution of a contract to optimize data in CensiTrac in the client facility or facilities 4.
