Department of Veterans Affairs/VISN 5/RPO-E/NCO5 Sources Sought Notice Motorized Cart Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking sources for a motorized cart and accessories for the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center. The requirement will support staff at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center to perform calibrations on patient lifts throughout the main facility as well as the CBOC's. The lift test equipment will aid in decreasing repair times and costs to the facility. The NAICS code for this contract action is 333924 - Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 900 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 3930 - Warehouse Trucks and Tractors, Self-Propelled. Responses from vendors classified in similar NAICS codes and/or PSCs are encouraged and will be accepted. The equipment being sought for the requirement is listed below - Motorized Platform Cart A minimum weight capacity of 1,500 pounds (lbs.) Charged by 120V outlet Shall have an override break Capability of being used to test ceiling lifts Weights (for the purpose of testing ceiling lifts) A minimum of 1000lbs worth of incremented weights All weights must fit on the cart at one time Sling Four (4) feet Weight capacity of 2600 pounds (lbs.)
