Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought/RFI only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339112. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 5 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide Laboratory infrastructure upgrade Water Purification System for the VAMHCS - 10 N Greene St, Baltimore, MD 21201. Contract Title. Laboratory infrastructure upgrade Water Purification System Background. As part of the infrastructural upgrade for the Research and Development Core laboratories, the purchase of 8ea Water purification systems UV, 8EA Wall Mounting Bracket, 8EA Disinfection Cartridge and 8EA INSTALLDIWSIMPLE PRETREAT are needed to support the VAMHCS Research Mission. Multiple investigators conducting VA-funded research use purified water to ensure the best results and meet their research objectives. The Water Purification Systems will be in the Core laboratories of the R&D service located in wings 3C and 3D of the main hospital. Scope. The scope of this purchase is limited to the purchase of the above listed items (8ea Water purification systems UV, 8EA Wall Mounting Bracket, 8EA Disinfection Cartridge and 8EA INSTALLDIWSIMPLE PRETREAT) Specific Tasks. The Water purification systems UV, Wall Mounting Bracket, Disinfection Cartridge and INSTALLDIWSIMPLE PRETREAT will be ordered, delivered directly to No 10 N Greene Street, Baltimore MD 21201. The units will be set-up and evaluated for functionality upon delivery. Subsequently, the Water Purification System will be used to support the overall Research mission and multiple VA-MERIT award investigators. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations. Identification of Possible Follow-on Work: Maintenance agreement will established once warranties have expired. b. Identification of Potential Conflicts of Interest (COI): N/A c. Delivery and service technician will set-up the unit and establish that it is working and functioning correctly.
