This project consists of the contractor providing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, transportation and supervision necessary for the construction services for Project Number 512A5-18-302 Construct Central Emergency Power Distribution . Bidders must be capable of providing construction services to install four 2 MW medium voltage electrical generators and associated distribution wiring and switchgear. The work will include demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnishing all labor, tools, material, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary. Complicated management and planning will be required to keep existing power distribution systems operational during construction and minimize distribution to hospital operations during planned outages and switch overs. Response date: Friday, November 26, 2021 by noon EST. Performance period is 540 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications, drawings, and attachments will be available at https://www.SAM.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All respondents must be registered in SAM data base, see https://www.sam.gov to include the completion of Representations and Certifications and registering with Vets 4212 at https://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm. Bidders must be registered in vetbiz at http://vetbiz.gov/. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million annual receipts for the past three (3) years. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. The solicitation package, amendments, and site visit minutes will be issued by way of Sam website only.
