This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Washington DC VA Medical Center has a requirement for a contractor to provide Renal hemodialysis Bicarbonate Acids. The Bicarbonate Acids acid concentrate series is formulated to be mixed in conjunction with Renal Systems SB-353 Liquid Drum Series. The acid is a crucial supply requirement to mixing the liquid solution to continually provide treatment to dialysis patient. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be a Base Year and one (1) one-year option period. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed as an open market brand-name only solicitation under FAR Part 13 procedures for commercial items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250 Employees All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation will be posted to the Contract Opportunities website on or about July 27, 2022. To be eligible for award, an offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov ; if an SDVOSB or VOSB, an offeror shall be VIP-Verified at vetbiz.va.gov.
