The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking prime contractor construction services to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision for project no. 540-22-109 Curb, Sidewalk and Stair Repair Project at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV 26301 in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Work includes, but is not limited to, perform repairs to concrete curbs, sidewalks, and stairs throughout the campus to eliminate tripping hazards. Estimated construction cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 236220, size standard: $39.5 million. All respondents must be registered in SAM data base, see https://www.sam.gov to include the completion of Representations and Certifications and registering with Vets 4212 at https://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm. Bidders must be registered in vetbiz at http://vetbiz.gov/. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bids (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14. SDVOSB firms that submit bids/offers for SDVOSB set-asides that are not listed on VIP will be deemed nonresponsive. There will be one pre-bid site visit which will be held on or about February 1st 2022 @ 11:00 am local time at the VA Medical Center, 1 Med Center Dr, Engineering Building 7, Clarksburg, WV 26301. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the site visit. All questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the contracting officer (email address: Adam.Bradford1@va.gov). The deadline for questions pertaining to the solicitation will be on or about February 8th, 2022 @ 1:00 pm local time. No telephone inquiries will be answered. Prospective contractors are responsible for downloading plans, specifications, and any issued amendments from https://www.beta.SAM.gov . Solicitation documents will be available on or about January 25, 2021. A public bid opening will be made at the Contracting Offices at 513 Rosebud Plaza, Clarksburg, WV 26301. Bid opening date is March 1st, 2022 @ 3:00 pm local time. This procurement is subject to availability of funds.
