Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify companies that have the resources and capabilities to provide advice and assistance to the VHA National Radiation Oncology Program Office in evaluating, updating, and sustaining clinical quality measures (CQM) for the surveillance of radiotherapy quality in 5 different disease sites; Prostate, Lung, Breast, Head and Neck, and Rectal cancers. Description of Work Contractor will convene Subject Matter Expert (SME) panels in Prostate, Lung, Breast, Head and Neck, Rectal or any other disease site as deemed necessary to evaluate, update and define new CQMs. Each disease site should be evaluated at least once every two years and one (1) of the disease-site panels convening at least three times per year. Contractor will define evidence-/consensus-based expected performance rate for each CQM clinical and also define dosimetry data elements required to score each CQM. Contractor and VHA Radiation Oncology Program Office will review and approve the data elements used to determine the value of each performance measure. Contractor will provide general support for the VHA ROQS via monthly calls with the NROP office to address implementation questions, discuss how to convey results to VA providers, and provide guidance on any other issues related to the quality surveillance program. Qualifications Contractor personnel will be board certified radiation oncologists, who are peer-recognized industry leaders in the disease-site for which they will be panelists. For example, those serving on the lung panel are nationally recognized for their expertise in radiation oncology for treating patients with lung cancer. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to provide these services. Ballpark cost estimate of what the VHA National Radiation Oncology Program Office could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above per year.
