Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify companies whom have the resources and capabilities to supply & install floor coverings for the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Network Contracting Office 5 is considering awarding a long-term BPA/IDIQ for the floor coverings supply & installation. Description of Requirement The Contractor will supply & install floor coverings at the Washington DC VA Medical Center on an as-needed basis to replace worn or hazardous floor coverings and to rejuvenate the appearance of the medical center. The Contractor will also prepare floor by removing and disposing of old floor coverings when necessary and also supply the necessary products for the flooring installation (e.g., adhesives, trim, transition strips, heat weld rod, floor leveler, etc.). Technical Qualifications The Washington DC VAMC needs the floor coverings to be consistent (i.e., needs to match existing flooring as much possible) throughout the medical center; therefore, the Contractor must have these brands/styles readily available for supply & installation: Teknoflor Forestscapes Sheet Vinyl, Tandus Ethos Ratio Carpet and Centiva Contour LVT. Floor products must meet the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines Program (for recycled content) or the U.S. Department of Agriculture BioPreferred Program (for biobased content). Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to supply and install the floor coverings. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. GSA contract number (if your company has one) and evidence that it includes line items for the supply and installation of the floor coverings needed at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. If your company does not have a GSA contract for the flooring products, then please provide some ballpark price estimates for the types of flooring products identified above as well as your typical installation costs for our planning purposes. 3. Capability statement and summary of previous experience supplying and installing floor coverings for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities.
