Small Business Sources Sought The Baltimore & Perry Point VA Medical Center is looking for a service contract to provide labor, material, and equipment necessary to maintain our OCE Plotter & Scanner from Canon. Oce Colorwave 600 Printer and TC4 Scanner (Perry Point) Oce Colorwave CW500 Plotter and Scanner (Baltimore) Contractor to be familiar with licenses (provided at end of this document) The project will be implemented using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811212 Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. The VA Maryland Healthcare System is conducting this Sources Sought to identify small business contractors who possess the capabilities to provide the equipment and services as specified in the statement of work found below and to determine availability and capability to complete the procurement. If your company is interested in this requirement, is a qualified small business for the NAICS code 811212 ($27.5 Million according to https://www.naics.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SBA_Size_Standards_Table.pdf) As permitted by FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Proposal (RFP), to be issued following completion of RFI, and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any formal RFP process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy. Contractor is to familiarize with required licenses. The objective of this contract is to maintain the unit for proper use and performance and provide supplies needed on a quarterly basis. GENERAL SCOPE Contractor to provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to carry out the work described in this Scope of Work during regular business hours. All parts and supplies are to be with quality and performance equal to those of the original manufacturer (including toner, developer, fuser oil, drums, rollers, circuit boards, and other necessary or optional parts and supplies, e.g. staples, for repair and operations) and licenses necessary to maintain the scanner and plotter in satisfactory operational order. The work items are: The service and support contract shall include all preventative, corrective maintenance, labor and travel required for the of the VA Maryland Healthcare System. The Service Contract shall include a set of associated toners (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) two set of 20lb 35x500 bonds (2) provided quarterly and 60000 sq. Ft. of annual print or scan if the unit was down and repair could not be done in a timely manner. Also, to include two hundred and fifty (250) Oce Smart Clicks per month.
