NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Getinge USA Sales, LLC., for the provision of Ultrasonic Countertop Cleaning System and supplies at the Beckley VAMC, Beckley WV. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of 41 U.S.C 1901(e)(2) - FAR 13.106-1(b) Justification for Single Source Awards. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 16:00hrs., EST, on Monday, February 8th, 2021, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement; late responses will not be considered. If after 16:00hrs on 8th February, 2020 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, the Dept of VA shall negotiate solely with Getinge USA Sales, LLC. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Verbal responses and/or telephone queries are not acceptable and will not be taken or considered. When responding, please reference 36C24521Q0164. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
