January 2021 Notice of Intent to Sole Source AutoCAD® and Revit® Training Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). This is not a request for proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the government to pay for costs incurred from the preparation and/or submission of data in response to this notice. Written responses to this Notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Information received in response to this Notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Name and Address of Single Source IMAGINiT Technologies 11201 Dolfield Blvd #112 Owings Mills, MD 21117 The Contractor shall provide Autodesk drafting training for AutoCAD® and Revit® software (2019 version), utilizing the official published Autodesk curriculum, training guides, courseware and textbooks. The Contractor shall be certified as the Autodesk Platinum technical partner and must specialize in developing the official Autodesk Training guides and courseware. Instructors providing training shall have minimum Autodesk certifications, verifiable training experience and content creation services using the official Autodesk curriculum and guides. The training classes shall be instructor led and presented virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions and multiple locations of Engineering staff throughout the VISN 05 network. The virtual training sessions shall accommodate at least 10 people per class for total of 50 staff. Based on the market research conducted, only one responsible source was found which can satisfy agency requirements. IMAGINiT Technologies is the only Autodesk trainer in North America certified and contracted by Autodesk to develop and publish the official Autodesk training guides that are used for AutoCAD® and Revit® virtual training. IMAGINiT Technologies as the Autodesk Platinum technical partner holds the Autodesk Certified Instructor, Revit Architecture Certified Professional, and Autodesk Certified Implementation Expert certificates. Other vendors are available to provide this training (universities, colleges, and software certified trainers), however, vendors either do not offer virtual training or outsource training curriculum and guides through IMAGINiT Technologies. Market Research was conducted through contacting Autodesk software developers for available training, communicating with IMAGINiT Technologies for available training, and by referral of a software certified trainer. IMAGINiT Technologies is the only certified vendor to deliver the curriculum virtually.
