Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify companies that have the resources and capabilities to provide shuttle transportation services for the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Description of Work: Contractor will provide shuttle transportation services for VA employees and ambulatory Veterans traveling to/from the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Shuttles will operate on a continuous loop from the Brookland Metro Station (Red Line) and the Columbia Heights Metro Station (Green Line) from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday (except holidays observed by the Federal government), with departures from each location about every 15 minutes. The Brookland Metro Station is about 1.5 miles east of the DC VAMC. The Columbia Heights Metro Station is about 1.5 miles west of the DC VAMC. There are about 300 VA employees and a small number of Veterans who ll be riding the shuttles daily. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from companies that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing shuttle transportation services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. Ballpark cost estimate of what the DC VAMC could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above per year. Responses must be submitted by 11:00 AM (EDT) June 18, 2020.
