Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Brand Name Oral Solicitation in order to identify any SDVOSBs vendors that have the resources and capabilities for a ChemDAQ Ster-Trac 2 Monitors. This ChemDAQ Steri-Trac 2 is for the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, Martinsburg WV 25405. Product: ChemDAQ Ster-Trac 2 Monitors Salient Characteristics Requirements: Must monitor levels of hydrogen peroxide in area around STERRAD NX Sterilizer Must monitor levels of peracetic acid in area around AERs Must gather and track data from multiple monitors Must have data storage to meet 30 year record requirements per OSHA Must be able to generate reports including concentration, alarms, time weighted averages Must display each area s current gas concentration, any acute alarms from the area monitor, current OSHA time weighted averages and any time weighted average alerts. Must monitor and display instantaneous concentration, 24 hour daily average, elapsed time average and alarm status. This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotations; Interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT March 18, 2020 at 4:30 pm EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C24520Q0300 Pre-Solicitation Notice. If after March 18, 2020 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Dept of VA will conduct an Oral Solicitation for Brand Name to SDVOSBs. This Pre-Solicitation Notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this notice will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
