STATEMENT OF WORK The Martinsburg VAMC is requesting the purchase of new Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtains and Installation Kits. The Privacy Curtains must work with the existing curtain track already purchased and currently in use at the station due to the facility s requirement for uniformity with design. The requested curtains must match the description shown below. Curtain Specifications: Curtain must be 108 in width and 66 in height Curtain must be available in 4 colors on the FSS contract (Beige Pattern, Meadow Fern Pattern and Teal Flower) 100% Recyclable Attach the Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtain Rods to Installation Kit with the quick release Time Strip and Label on each curtain for regulatory compliance Assembled in the USA Curtain Installation Kits Customize to the height of the ceiling so that the top of the curtain is approximately 6 off the ground. Manufacturer s Rep must be available to measure so that the length of the rod is correct Must have a Rapid -Release- mechanisms for easy curtain changes Customized rods allow for management of only one curtain SKU, but provides consistent aesthetics and privacy in every area where the system is installed 10 rods per Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtain Installation kit Grey color quick release mechanism and clear rod Manufactured in the USA Rapid Release Mechanisms Rapid Refresh Installation Kit Curtain Colors Beige Pattern, Fern, Meadow and Teal Flower Time Strip Indicator Ability to obtain parts for facility self -repair and warranty- All components that the curtain installation kit is constructed of should be available for order individually to facility for repair. The manufacturer must be willing to sell/provide parts to replace damaged parts as needed either through the purchase or under warranty work. Those components must be accessible to the facility by being made in the USA. Ease of Curtain Change: Curtains must be easily changed in less than one minute by the Environmental Management Service and Infection Control at the facility. Ease of use (mechanical and functional): The utilization of the curtain must be inherent for staff providing all a good level of comfort and ease of use. Warranty: The Rapid Refresh Disposable Privacy Curtains and the Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtain Installation Kits are clear and free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of manufacture. Under this warranty, the company s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, articles that are returned within the warranty period and that, after examination, are shown to be defective, subject to the following limitations: Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtains or Installation Kit must not have been misused, abused, or damaged in storage or transit. Contract Objectives/Installation: The contract will not include installation and but does include delivery of the product. Instructions and/or a demonstration on how to install the curtains will be provided. Rep will be available to assist with training of your install team. Acceptance upon completion of installation: After the installation of the curtains is completed, it will be inspected and approved by EMS Staff (Supervisor, Assistant Chief, Chief of Service) for the completion.
