Draft Brand Name or Equal Salient Characteristics Surgical Implant Instruments: Brand Product Description Qty CARTVIA CAR-10-US 10MM CARTIVA Implant 4 CAR-08-US 8MM CARTIVA 4 MTK-10 10 Single Use Instrument Set 4 MTK-08 8 Single Use Instrument Set 4 This product will be implemented using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 Medical/Surgical Instruments. This NAICS is not waived from the non-manufacturing rule. If a small business is interested in this procurement, they must cover at least 50 percent of the cost of manufacturing the products or supply products it did not manufacture as long as those products come from another small business. This only applies to small business set-aside. The Washington DC VA Medical Center is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess equipment/instruments to determine availability and capability to complete the procurement. As permitted by the FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for the informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy. Response is strictly voluntary it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in formal RFQ process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitation posted as a result of this sources sought notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
