H SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION - SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT-PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE ON VARIAN MEDICAL SYSTEMS HARDWARE Solicitation Number/FBO Notice: 36C24519Q0560 Agency: Department of Veterans Affairs Office: Washington, DC Medical Center Location: Washington, DC Response Date: April 27,, 2019 @ 2:00pm Set Aside: N/A Classification Code: H-QUALITY CONTROL, TESTING, INSPECTION NAICS Code: 922160 Synopsis: The Dept. of Veterans Affairs, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to a firm with the capability of providing all material, equipment, documents, and labor components to replace existing Siemens Network Command Center and all remote fire alarm input/output modules with new, and furnish, program and install Desigo Comand Center with required softwared, located at the Washington DC VA Medical Center The anticipated source is Siemens Industry, 6435 Virginia Manor Rd, Maryland, 20705. This is not a formal solicitation or request for quote. This synopsis of intent is to give notice of the Government s intent to make a sole source award. Contractors who can provide the Dept. of Veterans Affairs with the required services are invited to electronically submit an affirmative written response indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. Specifications for this requirement are as follows: The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary install the fire alarm system at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington, DC 20422. Period of performance will be from September 30, 2019-September 30, 2020. Responses should appear on company letterhead and include, at minimum, affirmation of active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), your Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number, any applicable processed credentials and qualifications, and any applicable pricing data or information. All responses should include a Point of Contract (POC), telephone number, and electronic mail address (email). Additionally, respondents should indicate whether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone, service disabled veteran-owned small business, or qualify as socially or economically disadvantaged and whether they are US or foreign owned. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the availability of this type of service. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis and all responses will be considered by the agency.
