THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, to provide sealed sources for the Lebanon VAMC. The full solicitation will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website at www.sam.gov on or about 09/26/2024. The full solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 325180 Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing - SBA Size: 1,000 employees. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on this site. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. The point of contact is Contracting Specialist, Nathan Lohr, at nathan.lohr@va.gov. The VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA is a recipient of a PET/CT camera in the Spring of 2022. The contractor has a requirement to procure and deliver radioactive sources to perform QC measurements on the Siemens Biograph Vision 600 and/or other equipment in the nuclear medicine department. These sources must fit the specified dimensions for the nuclear medicine department cameras (Siemens Biograph Vision 600, GE MyoSPECT, GE Discovery NM/CT 670, etc.), camera equipment, other medical equipment, quantity, amount of radioactivity, and must fulfill all Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) standards. Proper testing must be performed on the radioactive sources prior to delivery, along with necessary paperwork associated. These radioactive sources will be used for QC measurements to ensure the PET/CT camera is functioning and producing images at an optimal standard; moreover, other equipment in the nuclear medicine department.
