VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) STATEMENT OF NEED AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR Philips IntelliVue NMT Module Background The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) primary objective of this Statement of Work is to define the scope of procurement, installation, and integration of the Philips IntelliVue NMT (Neuromuscular Transmission) Module and associated accessories to enhance anesthesia services at our facility. It is needed for quantitative/objective results and allowing anesthesia provider to minimize muscle relaxant residual. The Philips IntelliVue NMT Module is specifically designed to integrate with our current anesthesia monitoring systems and electronic health record platforms. Opting for this solution avoids potential complications associated with mixing multiple vendors' products, ensuring a cohesive and interoperable anesthesia monitoring environment. The IntelliVue NMT Module offers advanced neuromuscular monitoring with features that surpass standard monitoring capabilities. Its precision in assessing neuromuscular blockade allows for tailored anesthesia management, contributing to enhanced patient safety and optimized clinical outcomes. Selecting the Philips IntelliVue NMT Module aligns with our goal of maintaining an efficient and streamlined workflow within the anesthesia services department. The seamless integration of the module into our existing infrastructure minimizes disruptions and enhances overall operational efficiency. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications mentioned above. (5) Describe how your small business takes ownership of the equipment in the manufacturing, assembly, or delivery process. (6) If you re a small business and you are an authorized distributor/reseller for the items identified above or an equivalent solution, do you alter; assemble; modify; the items requested in any way? If you do, state how and what is altered; assembled; modified? (7) If you intend to subcontract any work on this contract, what portion of the total cost will be self-performed/will be performed by your organization? Please provide estimated detailed percentage breakdowns related to subcontracted work and completion of job.
