The purpose of this amendment is to extend the deadline to February 7th, 2024 at 4 PM (1600) for all offerors and to provide additional information regarding the Request for Solicitation. 1) A seven (7) year pro-rated warranty for the brand-name or equal battery is not required. 2) The UPS has a bypass switch, so installation services will occur during normal business hours. 3) BLDG 1, Room BA02, may be used to temporarily stow the replacement batteries until technicians are ready to install. 4) The UPS is accessible via freight elevator but technicians must traverse a small ramp between the UPS and elevator. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Battery Replacement This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, to provide the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center with delivery, installation, testing, removal, and recycling services for sixty (60) UPS batteries. The full solicitation will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website at www.sam.gov on or about January 25, 2024. The full solicitation will be a 100% SDVOSB set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 335931 - Current Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing; the size standard is 600 employees. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package, any other pertinent information, and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on this site. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments.
