NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Itamar Medical, Inc. for the provision of the delivering equipment, WatchPat 300 Home Sleep Study Devices, located on site at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042-7529. The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has a brand name only requirement for thirty (30) WatchPAT300 Home Sleep Study system, devices, accessories, and the direct services associated with the system. These are portable units that are worn by the patients at their home. These units monitor the sleeping cycles and then returned to the facility for analysis. The equipment components that shall be delivered for this system are as follows: 1) 12 PNEUMO-OPT UPAT Probes (60 each); 2) Adhesive Set for SBP Sensor (60 each); 3) Central Plus Add-On Kit w/RESBP (30 each); and 4) WATCH-PAT 300 (30 Each). This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit from a single source under the procedures in FAR 13.106-1(b) used in accordance with 48 CFR 13.106-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 4:30 P.M., EST, on Friday, September 15, 2023, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
