Page 1 of 2 The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre- Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Wilkes-Barre VAMC (Station 693) located at 1111 East End Boulevard has a requirement for a Temperature Management Unit. The brand name for reference is the Altrix Temperature Management Unit Characteristics required and must be met for equivalents: Maintain pre-set body temperature as determined by the physician Maintain normal body temperature during surgical procedures. For use in all clinical settings including coronary care units, operating, recovery and emergency departments, burn units, and medical/surgical units. Adult and pediatric patients Monitoring and controlling patient temperature Temperature reduction in patients where clinically indicated, e.g., in hyperthermic patients. Delivery Requirement: The equipment will be delivered to the Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center located at 1111 East End Blvd in Wilkes Barre, PA 18711 between the hours of 0800 and 1500.
