Statement of Need MRI Safe Camera System Background: Lebanon Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center has a requirement for purchase and installation of a camera system for Siemens Sola Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Brand Name Only. The camera system will be used to monitor patients with cardiac pacemakers during an MRI scan. Scope of Work: Camera system will enable the MRI technologist to monitor patients with cardiac pacemakers during an MRI scan. The contractor will be responsible for the delivery and installation of the Siemens Provided MRI compatible camera within the MRI procedure room and a viewing monitor located in the Siemens Sola MRI control Room at Lebanon VA Medical Center (Building 1, Room 007). Site prep requirements: The MRI will need to be ramped down to perform this work. Mount the Siemens provided cameras. Provide the required cables. Cable terminated by Siemens. Provide filter in the procedure room All construction is to be performed in one phase during weekend. The use of owner s facilities and utilities shall be permitted during construction. Infectious control standards shall comply with owner s standards. Comply with orientation and clearance programs. Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Install required conduits point to point. Provide for daily broom cleaning of the job site and debris removal and appropriate disposal. Clean up and removal of debris as required. Equipment requirements: 1 MRI safe camera 1 MRI safe wall mount hardware 1 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Monitor 1 Supervision controller Type of Contract: Firm-fixed price Delivery: Delivery shall be within 45 calendar days from the time of award.
