NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104-4551, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to PHILIPS NORTH AMERICA LLC, for the provision of delivering and Installing Philips Telemetry Expansion : Twelve (12) MX40, Fourteen (14) PIC iX licenses, Two (2) PIC iX workstations , Two (2) Underdesk 360° CPU Mount, Two (2) 24 Dell Display Monitors, One (1) Cisco 2960, 24 Port, 100 MB Switch, Twelve (12) 5 lead ECG cables with AAMI and Sp02, Twelve (12) Sp02 9-pin D-sub adapter cbl 1.1m (8-pin), and Twelve (12) Sp02 Reusable Adult Clip Sensors M1196T. 3. Must be compatible with the current Philips Telemetry PIC iX system currently installed at the Philadelphia VAMC. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the procedures in FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 5:00 P.M., EST, on Wednesday, June 14, 2022, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
