The Department of Veterans Affairs, Coatesville VA Medical Center (CVAMC), 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320, has a requirement for temporary stationary engineers (operators). The contractor shall provide temporary stationary engineers (operators) to supplement the boiler plant staff of the facility’s central power plant. The contractor shall supply qualified Level 1 Boiler Operator (1st Class Stationary Engineer) personnel to perform watch-standing duties and responsibilities associated with the operation and maintenance of the CVAMC’s Central Power Plant boilers. Contractor personnel will be required to operate and maintain the boiler plant including, but not limited to: starting and stopping boilers, rental boilers, and ancillary equipment; routine boiler chemical tests and adding water treatment chemicals as necessary; and the maintenance and cleaning of boilers and central power plant equipment.
