PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE BACKGROUND The Department of Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh has a new brand name requirement for two (2) SARA Plus w/Scale (HEP1001-US) and four (4) Maxi Move (KMCEUN-D) w/Scale patient lifts for the Primary Care, Physical therapy, and Radiology Departments. These lifts will help safely handle and transfer Veterans in order to promote mobility activation, balance, stepping and walking. DELIVERY AND SHIPPMENT: Delivery Address: Monroeville CBOC located at 421 Mall Circle Drive, Monroeville Pa, 15146 The delivery date is on or one week prior to March 20, 2023: the VA will not be responsible for any storage fees associated with this purchase. The station will coordinate an earlier date if possible and arrange delivery. Normal business hours for acceptance of deliveries are 07:00am-15:30pm, Monday thru Friday excluding Federal Holidays. Deliveries must be coordinated in advance with the COR once a ship date is established. All items included in the requirement shall be shipped and delivered to site at same time. If deliveries must be broken into several shipments due to size, this must be coordinated in advance with the COR. Failure to coordinate shipment with COR, may result in failure to deliver on site and cause re-scheduling of delivery/freight at no charge to the government. The packing slip must include the VA-issued purchase order number. Because this is a Request for Information announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. The Pittsburgh VA Medical Center requires the delivery of 2 (two) Sara Plus w/scale and 4 (four) Maxi Move w/scale patient lifts for safe patient handling. These lifts will be used in primary care, physical therapy, and radiology for Monroeville CBOC. Description of work: VAPHS requires purchase of the following: CLIN 1 QTY HEP1001-US SARA Plus w/Scale 2 CLIN 2 KMCEUN-D Maxi Move w/scale 4 The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory.
