The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to search for business concerns capable of providing delivery and installation of CDS-250 Clinical Driving Simulator for the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Contract Title. Purchase of a CDS-250 Clinical Driving Simulator for driver's assessment and training to be used in the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center Rehabilitation Department. 3. Background. VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Rehabilitation Dept. requires the CDS-250 Clinical Driving Simulator equipment and installation with service maintenance. This equipment will simulate the driving experience in realistic but computer-generated environment with driver's seat/controls, large visual displays, and computer/software package. This allows clinicians to perform driver's assessment and training prior to recommending on the road training. 4. Scope. Salient Characteristics Length of Service: N/A Work Tasks and Deliverables Deliver and install all items listed above in bldg. 71, Rm 1B106D Heinz campus, at 1010 Delafield Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15215. Any interested business concern must submit a no longer that 20 pages capability statement addressing its ability to meet the requirements listed above to Sherrie Thompson, Contract Specialist, at sherrie.thompson2@va.gov no later than Friday, September 23, 2022, 05:00 PM ET. Capability Statement shall include a statement regarding how the business concern is engaged in wholesale trade and normally sells the item being supplied and how the business concern will take ownership of the items being delivered. Interested parties are also welcomed to identify any ambiguities with the SON and are welcome to suggest enhancements to the SON and include them separately with their capability statement.
