Erie VAMC (562): Tenscam RJV Statement of Need Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie VA Medical Center, has a Brand Name only requirement for four (4) Crosby Advanced Medical Systems Inc, (CAMS) Tenscam RJV energy-based healing devices. The Tenscams RJV units treat both pain and inflammation at the cellular level. They deliver a no-touch treatment in less than ten (10) seconds. Further, they relief both pain and inflammation without any side effects. The Tenscam RJV units utilize technology that distributes a frequency of 7.83 hertz which is the same level as the average alpha brain wave in a human body. Any body part that has inflammation typically vibrates at a higher frequency, therefore, having that body part being distributed the 7.83 hertz frequency corrects the cells and alleviates this inflammation. If vendor will not be on station: The Certification & Accreditation (C&A) requirements of VHA Handbook 6500.6 do not apply to this requirement; therefore, a Security Accreditation package is not required. No C&A or MOU/ISA is required. Sensitive information exposure as part of this contract involves applicable security controls within the facility as part of the VA Information Security Program. Contractor can self-enroll in TMS, take VA Privacy Training course # VA20939, and provide a copy of the completed training certificate to the government point of contact or COR if applicable.
