Background: The VAMC Altoona needs a replacement panoramic radiographic unit for its Dental Service. The current system in place has failed and has no guarantee for how much longer it will last past life expectancy. must include: (1) 3D conical beam panoramic dental x-ray system, with a field of view (FoV) of Ø5x5.5 to Ø17x13 (4) Doctor s Reading workstations, (5) Intra oral x-ray units 120VAC, Implant and airway planning software, storage and viewing/capture software, Physical server for storage and application, Sidexis 4 Software (3) number 1 and (7) number 2 size sensors for intra oral x-ray units. Elopement System Requirements Provide panoramic radiographic unit suitable for a Dental Clinic. Install system in X-ray suit of Dental Clinic. Install a modern picture archiving and communications system (PACS) such that it will be compatible with the new panoramic radiographic device. Location: Main Building, floor 2 Room 2B06O-1 for the panoramic radiographic unit. Throughout the Dental suite for the PACS workstations. Vendor Implementation Team Installation team Training team Vendor Responsibilities Vendor will install system and verify that it is fully efficacious. Vendor will ensure proper connection to electronic medical record system and educate Biomedical Engineering on use of system.
