NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4) intends to award a sole source contract award to Havtech 9505 Berger Road, Columbia, MD 21046. The period of performance for contract award will be from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 with four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide all labor, parts, materials, equipment, and supervision for the preventive maintenance and repair services on all existing and installed Daikin Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) Equipment in the new CLC and the parking Garage. The current Diakin equipment was recently installed, and requires a Daikin authorized service provider for maintenance and repairs to maintain the manufacturers warranty. The proposed contract action would include a base year and four one year option periods to perform preventative maintenance and make repairs as required by the statement of work. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by June 17, 2022 14:00 (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to nicholas.guzenski@va.gov.
