SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 04), is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide laser rentals to be used for patient procedures at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. This announcement is issued for informational planning purposes only and is not a request for quote or announcement of a solicitation. Submitting information for this announcement is voluntary and VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice. No solicitation is available at this time. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. The purpose of this market research is to identify capable sources that are both experienced and qualified to provide laser rentals for the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center has a need to rent the following four (4) types of lasers: Holmium Laser, Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Laser, Argon Laser, and Neodymium-Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (ND: YAG) Laser. These lasers are used to perform a variety of procedures for various departments within the operating room including Urology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Dental; Gynecology; Ophthalmology; Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery; Neuro-Spine Surgery; and General Surgery. All work to be performed in accordance with Statement of Work utilizing the most current lasers and Medical LSO certified technicians. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 750 employees for this type of effort. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM https://www.sam.gov) and shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in SAM prior to award of contract.
