PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Misonix Ultrasonic Bone Scalpel PURPOSE This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. All interested offerors are requested to read the below requirements. No responses are requested by this notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center of issues this notice with the intent of giving an opportunity to all interested parties to appropriately prepare for the anticipated Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is not a request for quotation; this is for pre-solicitation / informational purposes only. No award will be made on the basis of responses received to this notice. BACKGROUND The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center has a requirement for an (Brand Name) Misonix ultrasonic bone scalpel. Crescenz VA Medical Center. Accordingly, the Department of Veterans Affairs plans the issuance of the following solicitation (RFQ): RFQ Title: Misonix Ultrasonic Bone Scalpel RFQ issuance date: May 17, 2022. RFQ issuance method: The solicitation will be posted on the website of the beta.sam.gov at SAM.gov | Search and under the Business Opportunities section. The awardee will be required to speak, write and correspond in English Language. RFQ response date: May 23, 2022. Award date: May 27, 2022, or sooner. Award procedures: In accordance with FAR 13.106-3 Place of performance: Philadelphia, PA 19104 Special contract requirements: The Contractor shall possess all permits, licenses, and any other appointments required for the prosecution of work under this contract. Interested parties are reminded that information furnished hereunder may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Therefore, all items that are confidential to business, or contain trade secrets, proprietary, or personnel information must be clearly marked. Marking of items will not necessarily preclude disclosure when The Department of Veterans Affairs determines disclosure is warranted by FOIA. However, if such items are not marked, all information contained within the submitted documents will be deemed releasable
