Galileo Colposcope Statement of Need Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has a requirement for two (2) brand name or equal to the Galileo 400DA (Direct-Access) Colposcopes to be utilized in the Women s Health Clinic. It will be used in conjunction to perform women s heath procedures such as colposcopies. Scope of Work: The Galileo 400DA (Direct-Access) Colposcopes shall provide care to Veterans in the Women s Health clinic on 17-5. The Galileo Colposcope (Direct-Access) 400DA features a three-step magnification with integrated LED light. The offset center feature provides a direct visual and easy access. Combining modern technology with classic aesthetics, the Galileo Colposcope Direct-Access 400DA is a piece of art designed to facilitate comprehensive cervical examination, with ease and style. Emergency services required shall be coordinated through the COR. Contractor must be available to perform emergency services within 3 hours of notification. Federal Holidays observed by the VAMC are: New Years Day Labor Day Martin Luther King Day Columbus Day Presidents Day Veterans Day Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day Independence Day Christmas Day Delivery: Delivery shall be within thirty (30) days from the time of award. The colposcopes and accessories shall be delivered to the Lebanon VAMC located at 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042; Attn; Warehouse. Biomedical Engineering will need to perform a safety check and enter the equipment into the system for annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) checks. Placement in the LVAMC clinic shall be coordinated through the Contracting Officer Representative.
