Page 1 of 1 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Provision of Bulk Salt and Ice Melt The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Contracting Office (NCO) 4, on behalf of Erie VA Medical Center, has a requirement to establish to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for the provision of Bulk Salt and Ice Melt for a base period covering the remainder of the 2022 Winter Season and two option years for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 Winter Seasons. Bulk Salt and Ice Melt must be delivered to the Erie VAMC by the successful Contractor(s) within the timeframes stated within the Statement of Need (SON). This requirement will be set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 325998. Quotes will be evaluated utilizing Comparative Analysis. The quantities that will be shown in the Schedule of Supplies and Services are estimates of annual requirements. There is no express or implied guarantee that these quantities will be purchased. Any BPA entered into under the solicitation will include a base period and two (2) one-year option periods which may be exercised by the Government. Detailed Specifications will be available at a later date.
