The intent of this Sources Sought Notice 36C24421Q1105 is to identify any Small Businesses, mainly SDVOSB/VOSB vendors who can provide a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL FLUKE MODEL ii910 Acoustic Imager for the Department of Veterans Lebanon VA Medical Center listed in the Statement of Need below. In addition, we are also seeking any Small Business manufacturers that have the capability of providing this system as well. This is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future work. Small Business, SDVOSB, and/or VOSB manufacturers authorized distributors are encouraged to submit your company s information and capability statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issues an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Potential vendors should respond with their ability to provide the name brand equipment and supplies included in following Statement of Work: STATEMENT OF NEED ACOUSTIC IMAGER GENERAL: Engineering Service at Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has identified a requirement for the acquisition of an acoustic imager. The equipment is necessary to provide an instrument for the Maintenance and Operations technicians to conduct high sensitivity and high frequency inspections. The acoustic imager will be utilized to perform examinations of hoses, fittings, and assorted connections to safely detect pressurized leaks in various systems, including those with gas, vacuum, steam, and compressed air. The imager shall translate sounds into a visual representation and allow for easy detection and analysis of areas of discharge. This will aid in minimizing equipment failures, system downtime, and utility costs, and will further prevent the likelihood of catastrophic consequences. REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall provide the following brand name or equal acoustic imager, which meets or exceeds the salient physical, functional, and performance specifications outlined below.
