NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4, 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to General Electric Healthcare for the provision of the following equipment for the upgrade Vivid S70N v2020 Ultrasound Machine located on site at the Lebanon VA Medical Center located in Lebanon, PA. The equipment that shall be delivered for this Machine is as follows: H8010SM, Vivid S60N/S70N v202 to Ultra Edition v204 Upgrade; H45601YRED, Vivid S eDelivery Enable; H45611GA, VS60N-S70N v204 UM - English delivering; H40442LM, 9L-D Linear Array Probe; H8010SH, 4D Additional SW Bundle; H8010SH, 4D Additional SW Bundle; H45591HS, Wireless USB adapter; H8010PA, EchoPAC* Software Only v204; H8010PF, EchoPAC 2D Quantification Bundle 1 license v204; and H8010PF, EchoPAC 2D Quantification Bundle 1 license v204. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit from a single source under the procedures in FAR 13.106-1(b) used in accordance with 48 CFR 13.106-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 4:30 P.M., EST, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
