The Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon, PA has a potential requirement for BRAND NAME. Small Business, SDVOSB, VOSB manufactures and authorized distributors of brand name are encouraged to submit your company s information and capability statement are encouraged to submit your company s information and capability statement in response to this Sources Sought Notices. Potential vendors should respond with their ability to provide the following BRAND NAME equipment. STATEMENT OF WORK Statement of Work BRAND NAME ONLY Introduction The Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042-7529 has BRAND NAME requirement to purchase five MINDRAY ACCUTORR 7 Vital Signs Monitors for COVID Vaccination Clinic and Chemotherapy Clinic. Justification: The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC), has a need for five additional Mindray Accutorr 7 Vital Signs Monitors to be used by nursing staff in the vaccine clinic and chemotherapy unit. The vital sign monitor will be used by nursing staff to assist with better outcomes for patient care. The vaccine clinic requires a vital sign machine to accurately address issues that may arise post an injection. The chemotherapy unit has eight bays and only four vital sign machines. Due to regimens lasting longer and infusions now requiring more frequent monitoring, the additional monitors are necessary and will allow for more efficient monitoring and patient safety. The Lebanon VA Medical Center currently has 110 Mindray Accutorr 7 Vital Signs Monitors in inventory and has found them to have the best features all around for better patient outcomes and employee use. The facility shall use the same product to not only enhance efficiency but also accuracy for the best patient care. Vendors shall provide including, but not limited to portable, non-invasive blood pressure and pulse oximetry monitors and required accessories to include blood pressure cuffs, leads, cables and cords to ensure proper operation. Biomedical Engineering will need to perform a safety check and enter the equipment into the system for annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) checks. Placement in the LVAMC shall be coordinated through the Contracting Officer Representative. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339112 with a small business size standard of 1,000 Employees. Information provided by potential sources will be utilized by the Government to determine market availability and procurement strategy. An award of a contract will not result from this Sources Sought Notice.
