Statement of Need This is a new brand name requirement for five Haag Streit Imaging Module IM900 Slit lamps. This equipment is used for examining the patient s cornea for diagnostic and completing photos prior to the veteran s surgical procedure. Equipped with an ultra-sensitive camera, the IM900 produces images of exceptional quality even under difficult light conditions. Patient comfort has improved significantly with the new technology as it is possible to record findings without excessively dazzling the patient. Like any professional camera, the IM 900 is equipped with depth of field control, which allows to adjust the camera ideally, regardless of the location of the pathology.
