The purpose of Amendment 00005 to 36C24421Q0053 is outlined as follows: Attach a revised SOW. The following changes were made to the original SOW: ADD: Contractor will remove pigeons from rooftops of building 1 and remove them from the Wilmington VAMC facility. Pigeons must be relocated or humanely euthanized. REMOVE: The contractor shall remove, discard and replace the current anti-bird pest wire fencing systems installed around all air handler units and related systems located on drawing. New anti- bird pest fencing system shall provide a sufficient barrier to prevent future bird pests from nesting under rooftop air handler units while providing an entry via an integrated door system to allow facilities staff to perform maintenance beyond the fence. ADD: The contractor shall assess and replace if necessary, the current anti-bird pest wire fencing systems installed around all air handler units and related systems located on drawing. Any new anti- bird pest fencing system shall provide a sufficient barrier to prevent future bird pests from nesting under rooftop air handler units while providing an entry via an integrated door system to allow facilities staff to perform maintenance beyond the fence. The contractor shall provide an integrated door system attached to any existing anti-bird fencing if existing is in a good functioning condition. A third site visit will be conducted on January 27, 2021 at 10:00am. Vendors shall meet at Building 10 at the Wilmington DE VAMC. All visitors will proceed to a COVID screening area before entering the main hospital. Due to COVID restrictions, please limit one person from each vendor organization.
