Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA has a requirement for Project 693-18-102 Replace Exterior Doors. The work will consist of removing the old doors, door jambs, alarms/card readers, all hardware (panic bar, key cylinders, closers, latches) in it s entirely and replacing the following items with a 2 hours fire rated, welded metal frame, metal door, panic hardware, closers, side light security/fire rated window shall be approximately 4 wideX25 long. Replace all existing alarms, New card readers, and/or equipment on the doors (Johnson Controls). The doors shall have a DETEX SDC LR100 Quiet Duo series Electric Latch Retractation Kit and V40xND exit device. Install new locks for every door, they shall be Yale Locks, interchangeable cores (6 pin GE keyway). Doors will have PIV card access with key override. The door will be painted color selected by VA. Replace all signage, decals, stickers that were placed on the existing doors with all new. All door and frames shall have fire labels. The magnitude of this VA construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Period of Performance will be approximately 180 calendar days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. All work on this project shall be accomplished between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm shall be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov Offerors shall ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 236220Â and the small business size standard is $39.5 Million, A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The exact date/ time/ location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at Contract Opportunities on the betasam.gov website or about December 1, 2020.
