The Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Philadelphia VAMC) requires a firm fixed price construction contract for Renovate MRI Suites for Equipment Upgrades. The Philadelphia VAMC has a requirement for General Construction and Alterations necessary for the complete renovation of the following existing spaces: Avanto MRI Room 3A151, Waiting 3A151A, Reception 3A151B, Corridor 3A151C, Changing 3A151D, Changing 3A151E, Corridor 3A151F, TECH Area 3A151G, Inpatient 3A151i, Corridor 3A151J, MRI Control Room 3A151K, Corridor 3A151M, Equipment 3A151N, TECH Area 3A151P, ESPREE MRI Room 3A152, Closet 3A152A, MRI Control Room 3A152B and Equipment Room 3A152C, as indicated on the plans and in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The construction magnitude for this project is $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 and construction is expected to be completed within 270 days after the notice to proceed is issued. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Additionally, the Government intends to use the Best Value tradeoff process source selection approach in accordance with FAR 15.101-1. The contract completion time will be Two Hundred and Seventy (270) Calendar Days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A One hundred and twenty (120) day proposal acceptance period shall be required. A Pre-proposal Meeting/Site Visit will be announced in the solicitation, and will be held at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19104. The exact location and time of the pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation. All potential offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-proposal Meeting/Site Visit. This will serve as the perfect opportunity for contractors to fully understand the project, as there will be representative(s) from Engineering and Contracting offices in attendance.
