STATEMENT OF NEED 1.0 GENERAL SCOPE The Wilmington VA Medical Center has a requirement for one (1) Fujifilm SonoSite X-Porte Ultrasound System. SonoSite is the only brand for this acquisition capable of providing the necessary technology and preinstalled education programs in one package. The equipment shall be delivered to the following location: 1601 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805 This requirement includes the X-Porte Ultrasound Kiosk System with Stand, accessories, and warranty. 2.0 PRODUCT: DESCRIPTION AND QUANTITIES The SonoSite X-Porte is a high resolution, all digital ultrasound kiosk designed to meet the needs of the demanding clinical environment. The X-Porte Kiosk includes a capacitive multi-ouch panel user interface, adjustable high-resolution LED monitor for image display and review, a system stand featuring a triple transducer connection, battery pack and a storage basket. High resolution imagining including imagining modes (M-Mode, Pulsed Wave Doppler Update and Simultaneous, continuous wave doppler, color power doppler, and tissue doppler imagining. The X-Porte kiosk features proprietary software technologies: XDI Extreme Definition Imaging, Steep Needle Profiling, SonoHd2 Imaging Technology, SonoMB Multibeam Technology, SonoADAPTTM Tissue Optimization Technology, Pulse Inversion Tissue Harmonic Imaging, Color HDTM Technology, Autogain. One-year standard warranty on battery and accessories carrying the manufacturer s label excluding the system. Provide a replacement engine within 24hrs where available (24 hr. shipping not available in all geographical locations) 5.0 DELIVERY & INSTALL FOB Destination All furniture shall be delivered within 45 days after receipt of order. Products shall be packaged to prevent damage or deterioration during shipment, handling, storage and installation. Installation provided by a SonoSite Clinical Specialist. The installation includes an overview of the product and accessories purchased, including the features, functions, user interface, and system care/maintenance. Contractor will remove one (1) SonoSite Ultrasound equipment.
